Couples that work out together stay together…is that how the saying goes? If not, it should. Regardless Brianna and Aaron Evans consistently worked out together 4/5 times a week from home during quarantine. They were the staple in the 5:30 pm Zoom class each day. There were some days where they were the only ones there so we got to spend more time talking to them before and after the workout. The craziest part is that they were able to workout each day all while their baby son sat there like the sweetest kid on the planet. Seriously, he is one of the most chill kids on the planet. We wanted to take a second and recognize their hard work. We know that these last few months have been crazy but when difficult test arise true character is shown. Every day Aaron was smiling and cutting up. Brianna was there…some days she didn’t want to be…but she was there. There’s a lesson to be learned there. Just show up, even when you don’t feel like it and you will see the results you are wanting. Don’t take our word for it…here is what Brianna had to say”.
Working out during the quarantine was something we honestly looked forward to most days. The motivation came easy when I started seeing my clothes fit differently and just overall having more energy. On the days I didn’t feel up for it, I found that if I still showed up and gave at least 50% I would end the workout with a clear mindset and more positive attitude.
After just a few weeks of being consistent I started seeing big changes in the way my clothes fit, in the way I felt and mostly mentally, I felt better...more balanced.
When I did the comparison photo my mind was blown because, although I knew my body was changing, I didn’t realize how much. Taking progress photos is something I will for sure continue to do now! It was a HUGE motivator too!
At WOTOWN we all have a reason for working out. Some of us want to lose weight, some want to model health for our family, others want to gain a confidence in themselves that they have never had. These things are not just accomplished, they take hard work. Some days are easier than others but the deciding factor will always be in a choice we ALL have to make: “Will I do this today?”Thanks Brianna for being a leader during quarantine and teaching us all that SHOWING UP is really all it takes.
