I used to be a member of a gym for 3 years, until I decided it was time to step away and work out at home. It was a nice break to really focus on me, my fitness goals, and my mental health. I enjoyed the freedom it gave me, but I really missed working out with my husband and friends. Then one day Erin reached out saying how her and Tres were opening WOTOWN and I should come check them out. I mentioned it would be fun working out daily together to my hubs, and surprise he signed us up Figured I’d maybe go a few months, and then go back to home workouts and just be a drop in from time to time. Honestly, I never thought I would be a member at a gym again. Yet here we are almost a year later, both still members, and loving it!
Now don’t get me wrong, working out at home is still nice from time to time especially when life happens and you can’t get to the gym. Thanks WOTOWN anywhere programming!! But for me, when working out at home I felt it was easy to get stagnant, feel like you’re just going through the motions, and it’s really easy to get in a rut.. Kids get sick, take a few days off, then next thing you know it’s been two weeks since you’ve worked out, your stressed, and feel like garbage. For me going to the gym is my escape, my sanity time, especially with so many things still closed and school being remote since March. I know I’m not the only one that appreciates everything WOTOWN does in order to safely stay open for their members to be able to come. All in all, I have to say WOTOWN is different that any place I have worked out before. The owners put their heart into the gym and it shows. There is always a welcoming environment, programming that is fun and challenging, and the best coaches around!
